Was looking for a fish meal. Went with the branzino with cherry tomatoes & asparagus based on waiter’s recommendation. Came out a bit different than what I’m used to at Greek restaurants which is grilled with a bit of charred flavor. Fortunately, there was a live violin performance in the square and I was seated front row . This is the best Serafina I have ever experienced and that’s mainly due to the outdoor seating and bike friendliness. Live violin was a bonus

Went there for lunch today with a friend from out of town. Service, food, and location were superb. The bruschetta was perfect, and the bread and EVOO was as good as it gets. The lasagna was amazing, and my friend’s spaghetti squash was first rate. Sat outside and had a ball people watching as we enjoyed our lunch. I’ll be back!

So cozy and delicous. Every dish and desert were wow! Unpretentious. The hostess was so welcoming and the staff was super friendly. We ended up hanging out there for a few hours for an unplanned Friday afternoon.

The food was good and the price was very fair (for New York standards). I can recommend the bresaola as a starter (we shared it between two people and it was perfect). As a main we had the pasta vongole and the arugula e filetto (steak salad) which were also very good! They were kind enough to swap out the Parmesan on the salad with some tomatoes due to dairy intolerance.

As much as we wanted to like this place we didn’t. The grilled octopus was a bit too chewy so we’re the fried calamari. The drinks are okay.

This is a wonderfully located Italian restaurant in the Meatpacking district in Manhattan. Walked in without a reservation, early dinner on a Saturday night. Food was amazing. We had a truffle carpaccio, carbonara pasta and a spagetti and clams. The food was delicious. There is seating outside when the weather is good. Staff very helpful and patient and service was perfect. Do not miss it!

Add a star if you have a tolerance for accumulated minor nuisances. The pizza was tasty and fresh, but served very slowwwlllyyy despite the restaurant being relatively lightly trafficked. Also, perhaps I’m just not well-versed in the nuances of authentic Italian pizza, but aren’t ingredients supposed to be spread evenly across the pie rather than separately clustered onto particular slices? The Peroni was fine but they were out of draught. In all, I’d eat there again, but with so many great food options in NYC, I’ll probably try other places first.
