This place was really good! The sandwich that I got was grilled pastrami and corned beef. With jalapenos and provolone cheese! You have to try this place out.

I ordered two specials, the chili and the shepherds pie. What can I say except that the chili was entirely bland and the shepherds pie was worse than what you buy in the frozen foods section at grocery stores–completely dry and lacking flavor. 3 stars because the service was good and quick, the interior was clean, and the location is charming. I would recommend staying away from their daily specials, stick to the sandwiches.

Nice little deli in downtown Cary. The food was pretty good, not complicated, and the service was fast. I had a cowboy sandwich and a slice of carrot cake. The sandwich came with a bag of Lays. They probably could have upgraded their chip servings but otherwise I was satisfied.

This is a must stop location for lunch in downtown Cary NC. They have the best sandwiches I have had in the area. They have limited seating inside and a great wraparound deck for seating outside. If your ever in the area I definitely recommend stopping by.

I think this might be an elderly local deli that only the locals like. I got the Cowboy sandwich that has roast beef and a side of macaroni salad and a sweet tea. The roast beef was over cooked and tasted like it had been warmed up in the microwave, the macaroni salad just tasted like noodles and mayonnaise, there wasn’t even any salt, it was the most bland macaroni salad ever, and the tea taste told me the metal urns need to be cleaned. The people at the counter were not friendly in the least.

Serendipity has some excellent sandwiches and lunch specials; probably some of the best in downtown Cary. Not only is the food good but the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.

This renowned deli has been a fixture on Academy St for over 30 years. And, one of the first eateries to offer vegetarian options long before healthy eating became trendy. It can get crowded inside during lunchtime in winter, but the outside patio is wonderful in milder weather.

This was a nice little sandwich shop. The staff was friendly and the sandwiches were good. (The chips were ok.) I’d grab something here again if I’m in the neighborhood.

Not sure if it’s because you were closing in an hour (which isn’t an excuse) but this was subpar, and based on your prices you sure are proud of these sandwiches. Slimy deli meat, tasteless hero, and very bland chicken wrap. Not worth the 30 minute wait or $30 for two sandwiches.
