Set ’em Up Jack’s is a locally owned sports bar and grill. We have twenty eight small TVs, seven small projectors and a 22ft HD big screen! We have daily food and drink specials. Our menu starts with appetizers such as chips and salsa, fried pickles and onion straws. We have 12 different styles to choose from for burgers, veggie burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches. Be sure to check out our $6 burger baskets on Mondays. Add one of those styles for only $1. Set ’em Up Jack’s is a favorite among both KU college students and Lawrence Kansas residents. We are located on east 23rd street in Lawrence Ks, just north of Prairie Park.

Good sports bar to unwind. Plenty of screens to watch. Can be dark if coming in during a bright day. Fat Bottom Burger was right from the grill hot. Cooked as ordered and pretty good. Fried Jalapeno chips were average to poor for bar food. Acceptable pricing. Very good and attentive wait service.

Our first time here. We made a reservation for 10 people. Our table was ready when we arrived. Nice variety of options on the menu. Pricing is very fair. Tonight I ordered one of the specials which was an open-faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. I was a bit disappointed with the way it was put together. The Texas toast was on the side rather than under the meat, and the meat was more pulled than sliced. The taste was okay but the presentation was not what I expected.

Jack’s is always a great time. My favorite dishes are sweet fire boneless wings, the enchilada special on Tuesdays, and the chicken fried steak. If you need a vegetable like me with every dish, order a side of the sauteed veg. So good.
