Went here for birthday celebration. I was impressed. The wait staff was super friendly and told us some funny stories. I ordered the alaskan halibut with sweet potatoes and asparagus. It was delicious. We shared a bottle of wine and also shared the creme brulee trio. The espresso one was so good and our favorite. I have been here 3 years and this place is a hidden gem. I will be back.

We made reservations with the hostess with around 6pm. I was thankful that they do not have a dress code. Closest reservation opening was at 8:45pm. They texted a bit sooner at 7:50. Headed down to the restaurant and they gave our table away. Had to wait another 10 minutes. Service was good. Salad was not worth $15. I regret getting that. They took quite a while to bring the bread. The bread was warm and went nicely with the jalepeno butter. The lemon drop was tasty. The chicken and prawns had a delicous hollandaise sauce. My chicken was very difficult to cut through and even harder to chew. Thankfully the manager, Nicole, noticed (without me having to say a word) and kindly offered to have it remade or get another item. When they remade it, it was juicy, throughly cooked, but it had a bit too much char flavor for my taste that made the outside of the chicken taste burnt even though it wasn’t. For the sea and land entree, the filet mignon was perfectly cooked. The sauce was not my favorite but it was ok. I wish they offered maybe a Butter Bordeaux for it. The lobster had a creamy, sweet, buttery flavor. I wish I ate that first. When I got to it after the steak, it was cold. The cold didn’t ruin the flavor though. It was my favorite of everything ordered. For the sides, I mean “compliments,” I didn’t like the cream corn. It tasted like egg nog; the nutmeg threw off the flavor of everything else and I really can’t imagine an entree that it could compliment. The aspargus was cooked nicely. The jalepeno mashed potatoes were flavorful and a bit spicy. The key lime pie was small and basic. Not worth the price, but the strawberry short cake was definitely worth it. Overall good. Service was good. Never let our drinks go low. Bread baskets were amazing. Clean in the restaurant. We did order the Bone Marrow Bread…3 slices of bread for $15….. idk if it was completely worth it. Still very tasty. Me and my husband shared the Land and Sea plate which was 6 Oz of Filet Mignon and 8oz lobster tail. Two sides came as well we ordered Asparagus and 3 cheese scallops. We ordered Med Rare on steak..outside was crispy but good on the inside. We didn’t send back because it was super tender. Scallops were burnt on top but the rest of the scallops were delicious. Overall not bad for the price to share between two people. Me and my husband shared an appetizer, meal, bottle of wine and a dessert to go. We would go back and maybe order a little different. For the sizes definitely sharing is the way to go and you can add extra add on if needed.

I think the service from the older staff sucks. Foods really overpriced. Au-gratin potatoes look like they come out of a box. Steaks always over cooked… the Caesar tastes like shhhh…… prime prices for choice steaks….

Had my reservation weeks back and when I decided to check in. They didn’t have any rooms. All rooms were not available, apparently because of cleaning. How is that possible if check out is at 11, cleaning should be done at 12 and check in at 3. Horrible service

We have enjoyed Seven Rivers for many many years and have always recommended it to friends and visitors. The food tonight was not even close to the quality of food we are used to. Service was poor as well. Nobody in our group chose to finish their meal. Even the desserts were bad tonight. We won’t be back.
