I have never been here in person but I order through door dash frequently. The food is really good and it’s really nice to get soul food via delivery. They do sometimes run out of what I order but they always call and ask what is preferred for a replacement. Very nice people.

I had the fried fish, mac n cheese and green beans. Everything was fresh and the taste is unbelievably good. My coworker had the oxtails with rice and gravy. It was so delicious. Oxtails will be my next order.

My first (& last) experience @Shā Bébé was horrible! I waited 31min from start to finish to get my food. After the first 10min of sitting in the drive thru, I started to leave b/c nobody ever came to the window. There was only 1 male in the lobby waiting. About 5min later, an suv pulls into the back of the place, a young female got out & entered the back door dressed in street clothes. She came by the register in drivethru to put on her jacket/apron, glanced at me, then went back into the rear of the place, Never Acknowledging me waiting there! (This was the only person I’d seen the entire time I was waiting in drive thru, besides the guy waiting in the lobby, so it appears this young lady must have left this establishment unattended until she returned. But, not my business, so…) Anyway, when she peeped out about 5min later, I flagged her down after she handed that man his food in the lobby. She finally took my order. From this point, it still took about 11min before she returned with my food. I pulled over down the street to check my order. The food was not that hot, only warmed.. The mac-n-cheese was Extremely Salty, it was more like mac-n-salt. I couldn’t eat it.There wasn’t much cheese sauce..& the shrimp had a slight smell to it. It was supposed to be Seafood gumbo, but it only consisted of shrimp & pieces of chicken. That’s it. However, the banana pudding was ok. (The receipt showed Call-in, although I never called in anything, but that’s irrelevant.) I really try to support the local businesses, but after this experience I was horrified. I can’t sugar-coat that. I know I can not & will not be returning to this one. I don’t know if the owner is aware of this type of behavior going on there or not, but this was my True, Honest-to-God 1st experience. I really wish I had better things to say, but I don’t. This was definitely my first & last time trying to support this particular business.

I was extremely upset with my order. This was my first visit so I was relying on the review and the owner’s pics on their website. It showed a nice battered fried chicken and waffle fries. My chicken was naked (deep fried with very little seasoning) with absolutely NO flour as shown in the owner’s pics. The fries were undercooked and some were definitely hard and OLD. I ordered and had it delivered so had no idea what it looked like until I opened the container and I was terribly disappointed. Unfortunately, I will not return.

I’d always pass by the location and one day on a impulse I decided to stop by and since that day last year, it has become one of my favorite places to eat. Some places serve soul food and then others serve it to were it’ll make you think about the best dishes prepared by women in your family and this place does that. Out of the many dishes I’ve tried and order on the regular, I’ve never been disappointed. I hope this place stays and continue to be the best soul food restaurant in Beaumont.

This was such a great experience and restaurant. The owner was so sweet and welcoming. Everything was delicious (honey butter toast just melts right in your mouth). The beef tips were so savory and delicious. I truly haven’t had any good customer service like this since the pandemic. The owner was truly a gem, such a beautiful spirit. This spot is truly the best spot to eat at in Beaumont. I am so happy I stopped by here. -Dallas Visitor
