Thoughtful shabu shabu tasting dinner! Also a very fun and one of a kind experience (especially for a shabu shabu lover). Everything was prepared carefully by the chef. Food was great, however a little bit pricey for the portions. But i believe the quality of the food was up there so i didn’t mind the price as much.

Good quality meats and beautiful settings. The place let you slow down the pace of New York, enjoy watching the chef cook and finally taste the actual food. Would be nice if there were more introductions. We started with the dippings of what they recommended and later became more adventurous as the dinner went on. Just don’t know if it was appropriate ♀️. Over all, an enjoyable experience and it is definitely on the more expensive side.

Good and fresh food, if not mind blowing/memorable in terms of taste or innovation. Polite but detached service. Overall, a very decent meal for the price but not somewhere im dying to return. Didn’t like that they asked us if we’d take the beef with a raw egg and then charged us for it – it’s an egg! You didn’t have to charge or could’ve told us it would be chargeable!

This chef is amazing and the meat is so good! The chef cooks everything for you perfectly and pairs with the sauces or lets you pair it yourself. For great quality meat and delicious clean flavors, definitely check this place out.

Enjoyable shabu shabu dinner experience where it is evident the chef has put much attention of the preparation of each dish. The one criticism is the speed of the dinner service oddly felt rushed even though there were only six diners. Note that one with a big appetite may still hungry upon leaving given the small portions.

I’ve been to Shabu Shabu restaurants before… But this was offering a bit more upscale experience. This is an intimate restaurant experience with only 8 seats per session. The menu is set and you’re told what will be served although not the exact order.

Beautiful intimate atmosphere, laid back but thoughtful service and a delicious food experience. It’s pricy, but would come again for special occasion. So fun watching the team preparing the food right I front of us. Memorable evening!

Interesting experience and concept. Experimental cooking style but it still needs some improvement in work flow. Would recommend for an unique style to friends who like to try something new. The portion is about right for a typical Japanese restaurant.

Amazing food. This might be the best place food wise I have eaten in the US. Fresh high quality ingredients cooked perfectly. When I went there were just two parties there and two cooks were serving us. Very cozy place with an authentic Japanese feel. Every dish was fresh and delicious. The beef and other ingredients are all very high quality.
