Fabulous diner in the most unexpected location. I drove by, but then turned around to see if it would be worth it for a quick lunch. Beautiful interior, great service, and an outstanding food selection. I had the turkey reuben, which was a great twist on the standard sandwich. Fries were delicious to round out the meal. Clean, comfortable, excellent experience. Highly recommend.

The Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwich on a Torpedo Roll with excellent French fries will satisfy any hungry traveler on Rt 6! Shady Acres Diner is a great choice for lunch!

The salads are fresh. The baked haddock was cooked well. The steak bomb was good. Be prepared for the kitchen to take 45 minutes to make your meal, though.

Finally made the stop into Shady Acres. I have always drove past this place and never thought to stop in. Always love trying a new breakfast spot. My go to is the scrambled Eggs, wheat toast, bacon and homefries. You can’t mess it up.
