I loved everything about the Shady Glade Cafe. Our waitress, who told us she had worked there for 8 years, was phenomenal. We were a table of 5, all ordering a different item off the breakfast menu. The food was outstanding, and everything was cooked to perfection. The food portions were large. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. They are the size of a dinner plate. This is a great place to stop by for breakfast. I wish I had found it sooner to have lunch.

Awesome onion rings! Stopped in here to see the lake and ate great food. There is a little bench under a cypress tree on the dock you can eat at also. Friendly staff!

Hands down best breakfast I’ve ever had! It was so good me and the wife actually stopped back by for lunch. We’ll definitely be visiting these very friendly folks again but next time we’ll be staying in one of their cabins they have for rent there!

I love shady and the waitresses are always so nice. Went the other day and got a kids burger and fries, adult burger and fries and a small drink and it was $25. The child drank water. No ones were given back in change, so I didn’t want to wait any longer and just left a five for a tip which honestly is fair, but 1 kid and 1 adult was just $30 for lunch! Can’t say anything bad about the food but it also took 1 hr to get. Hey, it was almost the 4th, so I’ll cut them some slack except that people who came in after I did got their food first

I got the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. She got the Chicken Fried Steak….pretty damn big. Food was great as was our service and the sweet that kept coming. Great little hole in the wall place. Will definitely be returning.
