The food wasn’t the best, some of the entrees we tried were incredibly salty; the dhaal, chicken curry and even the green basil chutney had one flavour profile — salt. I did enjoy the chicken tikka masala and the potato sabzi dish. The samosa was okay, I liked the pastry but the filling wasn’t boring. The tamarind chutney that it came with was actually excellent. My favourite dish was the aloo paratha itself, it was huge and very filling. The service wasn’t that good, they didn’t bring us water and didn’t offer tea, and didn’t mention dessert either.

Delicious every time! This place has great North Indian food, so I always get butter chicken and then another one of their rotating entrees. It’s the kind of place you wouldn’t take your friends who “can’t do spicy” but you probably would happily take your Indian friends. That is to say, it’s good.

SO FRIGGIN GOOD! Everything single thing I got was soo good. 2 garlic naan, a veggie samosa, & a veggie thali plate with vegetable korma, & butter paneer. Rice was perfect. All that for like 22 bucks. & SO SO SO GOOD! I got carryout but the vibes were great as well! I definitely recommend & absolutely will be back!

I had butter chicken, chickpea masala with aloo paratha. Butter chicken and aloo paratha were really flavorful. The service was great and friendly. The gentleman kindly explained what all the names mean. Will definitely visit again for a quick lunch. There’s not much to look at for the interior, but it’s clean.

We go to Shaggan’s once a month, take out or dine in, it’s our favorite Indian restaurant in the metro, between the quality, serving size, and excellent flavor. We’ve had nearly everything on the menu, including several specials which is definitely our favorite.

Our food was amazing and the naan was so soft and fresh. The butter chicken is to die for and you need to try the samosas! Will make this one of our regular spots for dinner!

We ordered take out: butter chicken , tikka masala, and naan. Everything was delicious! Definitely some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had. I do wish that the restaurant would ask if you want rice. Ours went straight to waste, since the bread was so amazing.

Ordered the butter chicken, tikka Marsala , rice & garlic naan . The food was so good ! One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried . We ordered and ate in the restaurant so our portion sizes were small for the price . Our plating was messy and it was kinda hot/humid inside so next time we try it we’ll order it to go . Flavor wise the butter chicken was the best ! I like how finely they shredded the chicken instead of giving you chunks that can sometimes taste dry like other places I’ve tried . Since they do shred the chicken so finely I recommend they portion it a little better because we had more sauce then meat.
