Emma Lee was our server and she was the sweetest ever. Then Brandi, the manager, came to check on us and was just as amazing. We were here in the area on vacation and Shaggy’s was THE BEST dinning experience we’ve had! We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town! The food was great and the drinks and desserts were amazing as well! Highly recommend!

This place has set my standard for service. Never in my life have I seen a more attentive and upbeat staff. Food is excellent – fresh seafood (tasted freshly caught to me, but nothing official was said). Waiter made the whole experience so much more worth it. She came around once every five minutes, never felt intrusive. She bothered learning our names (and used them) and we returned the favor – this made everything feel ten times more personal.

We visited this restaurant 8 years ago when our kids were little. On a recent trip to the area we decided to visit again and just like last time, Shaggy’s did not disappoint. We had a party of 6 and had to be on a waiting list at first which was no problem. They have a really nice area for waiting with outdoor games for the kids and half priced drinks for the adults if you’re on the wait list. When we were seated the service was excellent! All of the employees were super friendly and the food was delicious. When we were there 8 years ago my youngest son got a Shaggy’s frisbee as part of his kids meal. We have long since lost that frisbee so I asked one of the employees if we could get another one, and she was kind enough to go find one for us. The manager visited our table and she was super nice. One thing I was so impressed by is that while most other restaurants are raising their prices and reducing their portion sizes, Shaggy’s is doing the opposite. They are increasing portion sizes and prices are still reasonable. We had a great visit and can’t wait to visit again!

We vacation in Pass Christian every summer, and our favorite restaurant is Shaggy’s! They have the absolute best frozen margaritas—our favorite is the Tie-Dye Marg. SO GOOD! And everyone is so nice. Brandy and Jen took incredible care of us. We’ll be back every summer!
