Barebones joint selling some of the best halal food anywhere. I’m a truck driver and deliver to the produce market in the same shopping center and always stop by to get a combo over rice. The prices have increased a lot from when I first started coming here but this is my favorite chicken over rice place and always bring every one here who’s visiting NY and they all LOVE IT. I am so over this place after 5 years. They increased the prices and decreased the taste. I don’t even finish the tin anymore. The last straw was when I ordered and asked for the half pita that comes with the meal…they purposely forget to put it in and when I remind them at the counter while my order is still in his hands they say “oh sorry we can’t give it to you after its sealed” SCAM and penny pinchers. I hope the saved half a pita was worth this review!

I asked for extra white sauce, extra protein and hot sauce for my chicken rice. It did not meet my expectations at all. Barely any white sauce, can’t taste the hot sauce and it’s 2/3 rice. Will not be ordering from here again. Rather make my own.

One of the greatest restaurants I’ve been to in Hicksville!!! Me and my boys decided to go here and the food was just amazing! We got the chicken over rice platter and the lamb over rice which was just so juicy and scrumptious. There was this chubby kid working in the front with his co-workers who was such a kind fellow. He made sure we all were well fed. 10/10 Experience would highly recommend!!!

The food was really good I just wish there was a rice option without onions. The level of service depends how busy it is at the time. When the line is long they will rush and you get less food in your container. We always get the extra protien option.

I stumbled across this place in search of a late dinner that was healthy. The cashier was very friendly and very accommodating when I told him I do not eat meat. I ordered the falafel over rice. The rice was perfectly cooked. It came with a salad which was still very fresh, especially considering how late it was. Overall, it was a delicious, healthy meal that was great. The prices are also very reasonable.

Found a screw in my food. Almost took a bite thinking it was just a piece of lamb, luckily I noticed before I broke a tooth. Stay away from this place if you don’t like eating metal screws in your platter.
