Shah’s Halal was established in 2005 with one food cart in Richmond Hill Queens on 121st and Liberty Avenue, and we’ve been tantalizing taste buds ever since. In 2016, we developed our first Long Island branch with the goal in mind of becoming, “the best Halal Food Restaurant;” and we’ve definitely grown a lot since then! We know our customers are just as passionate about great food as we are.
Shah’s Halal is fortunate to have locations surrounded by communities that are all rich in history, and filled with passionate people from all walks of life. This place is great. I have been here a handful of times with my husband and never have an issue. I am not a fan of warm lettuce so on my chicken and rice they just add extra rice for me. The portions, flavor and cleanliness of the store is always great. No sticky counters, no gross floor or bathroom. Atiq has helped us the handful of times we’ve been here and we will always return here because it’s that great and close to home. I would suggest the red sauce if your a spicy fan its GREAT.

I just had the pleasure of eating at Shah’s restaurant. First, once you’re inside the place is bright and clean. The beautiful Server was very helpful and welcoming. I haven’t gotten to how delicious and satisfying the food was yet. The owner was super nice, and answered my questions with a smile. I totally would recommend everyone to come check them out and bring your family. Sit down and enjoy. Try the lamb, thank me later (smile)

This place is well lit, friendly people, tables clean, comfortable chairs, staff is welcoming. Menu is on 3 led TV screens. Food is halal, delicious, high quality and hot. They give you big quantity, enough to take home. Very affordable, $11 per plater. They’re open till 1am. YOU must visit asap! Highly recommended.

My partner and I have been regulars at this location since it opened. We used to visit the Fall’s Church location until we moved over to the Mt. Vernon area. The food never disappoints!
