Shah’s Halal was established in 2005 with one food cart in Richmond Hill Queens on 121st and Liberty Avenue, and we’ve been tantalizing taste buds ever since.
In 2016, we developed our first Long Island branch with the goal in mind of becoming, “the best Halal Food Restaurant in Long Island NY” and we’ve definitely grown a lot since then! We know our customers are just as passionate about great food as we are.

This is my first time trying out this restaurant, I finally decided to try something different than my usual lunch on my lunch break and it did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken over rice platter with the salad, the chicken was flavorful, seasoned perfectly had just the right amount of spice, rice was also delicious and the salad was flavorful too! And that white sauce is so good it compliments the chicken, rice and salad.

Halal food, affordable, fast, easy and good quality. Very similar to the Halal carts you see in the city, but with a place to sit, a place to park and a better selection. Glad these guys moved in to Stamford because it really is a perfect lunch for a great price.

I always order my food here (online). However, I tried to order my food at the location and requested for extra hot sauce. This Spanish man was very nice to give me some but the Arabic man scolded him infront of me for giving that sauce. What kind of service is that? How could you scold your employee infront of a customer? You need to train this Arabic employee so that he knows how to treat both the employees and customers. It’s embarrassing!!!

This place deserves more than 2 stars. Honestly. The food is good. The reason for a 2 star rating is that delivery orders aren’t done correctly. I specifically add to notes and things are ignored. It’s happened over 4 times and it’s annoying.
