I enjoyed a delicious and generous dinner from Shah’s Halal in Stamford. Very clean restaurant with pleasant and efficient service at the counter. Nice choice of fairly priced food with very fresh ingredients. Also love their Baklava. Easy parking for pickup. And don’t miss their green sauce, with the right amount of flavor and “cick.” I’ll be back!

I have been going to Halal carts in NYC for years. So to learn there was a Halal place so close to my home was exciting. And this place does not disappoint! Fantastic food! I want to eat there on a daily basis. I have now been there 4 times and each platter was phenomenal. I really, really, LOVE their food. And they will make it EXTRA spicy for me, which is what I desire.

I love this place. I go here at least 3-4 times a week for their chicken over rice. The only thing I have to criticize is the chicken can be too dry at times. I also go to taj Mediterranean and their chicken is very juicy, if shahs can make their chicken juicy like tajs l, it would make the dish 10/10. Currently I would rate it 8/10.

I placed an order through DoorDash. I tried their kofta kebab, which was really flavorful and really good. The spices were amazing. They are a little smaller than the ones that I’m used to, but they are priced accordingly. Definitely worth the money. The baklava was two triangular pieces in a package, and it was absolutely delicious. There are different kinds of falafel out there. There are those that are actually green inside because they have so much parsley in them, and those that are brown. These are the brown ones. They are very tasty. There is no place in DoorDash to be able to ask for sauce on the side. I called the restaurant and they packaged all the sauces separately. They pick up the phone quickly, so it was no hassle at all. I would advise them to put a little check mark on their menu that says please put sauce on the side. I would definitely recommend this place. If their food was this good for delivery, I can only imagine how good it is fresh in the restaurant.

Ordered 2 lamb gyros with extra protein, peppers & onions and white and green sauce on the side. $35 with fees and then it was delivered with zero sauce, huge uncooked red and yellow onions and uncooked peppers. Absolutely awful and tasteless – would avoid. See photo for reference.

Didn’t realize I missed the Halal food carts this much until I randomly stopped by and got a platter. Tastes just like I remember it from the old days of working in Manhattan but the veggies are way fresher. I swung by five days later after my first visit for a rerun of the platter.
