First time we tried this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and well-crafted. Will definitely be ordering from Shah’s Halal again! Excellent! Delivery was on time and the kofta kabobs on pita were very tasty…the Pakora chips were the best potato “chips” we have ever had. Crispy and cooked perfectly and the food arrived hot, too. Very happy we discovered this eatery.

I had your food from other locations and that was great. Today I tried here and m not happy. Chicken wasn’t fresh, hence not tasty. Kabab was not soft and tender. Humus was not fresh as well plus wasn’t made as good as I tried one yesterday.

Astaghfirullah. The quantity of meat in every dish we ordered was minimal. We’ve tried multiple “halal-cart” type meals on Long Island and this was by far the smallest portion, including no seasoning in the rice and half the box full of salad. The cheesesteak (pictured below) was so light and mostly bites of bread. Whoever gives this place a high rating is doing a disservice to other halal places in the area.

Went there at 2:30p on 11-14-22 & seen roaches the fat lady with the cold sore on her mouth starts telling me I’m crazy. Then tells me she is not going to serve me food. Ok thank you. Nasty ppl & roach chicken & lamb. No thank you

Was better when we first tried it in April. The last 2 times were not good. Chicken gyro had a bone in it and the second disappointment was the meat seemed rubbery or cheap. Please improve back to your old standards! We liked it very much and would come back again if the quality returned. The people working are very nice and polite but the last two trips turned us off.
