Delicious tacos and nice outdoor market to enjoy. I tried the ono tacos which were fresh and delicious and Verde salsa which was mild and perfect. My partner (vegetarian) tried the soy chorizo tacos with the lava sauce and really enjoyed it. Lava sauce is the hottest available and he loved the spice level. They give the option to build your own meal (tacos, quesadilla, burrito, etc.) and offer soy chorizo as a vegetarian protein which was great to have some different options for vegetarians.

Finally able to try this place and the food was fantastic. Super flavourful and tasty!! Friendly service. It’ll take about 15 minutes or so from time you order till the time you get your food as they make it fresh. Had the Ono Fish Taco (fish was a little dry), Sochi Pork Taco (amazing with the Lava sauce), Keiki Quesadilla and Keiki Burrito. Yum-yum. Enjoy.

Order the Ono Fish Tacos! We ordered 3 ono with mango salsa and 3 steak with salsa verde. I mixed the salsas on the ono fish tacos and OHHHH YEAHHH the fish was perfectly seasoned and not dry. The toppings had a little bit of everything (salty, sweet, tart- from the lime, crunchy) it was like the perfect melody! You must try it!

I usually could care less about presentation of food unless your in a high end restaurant, as long as it taste good. Well Shaka Tacoz has the most beautifully made presentation of tacos I’ve ever experienced and they are some of the best tacos I’ve ate. I had the Ono fish which is local here in hawaii and delicious and I had the pork carnitas which again is local here and delicious as well! They have a store front in Captain Cook and today I visited the Ali’i Garden Market and they haven’t food truck which is perfect to sit out in the garden middle of the outdoor market and enjoy!

We stopped at Ali’i Gardens Marketplace to do some souvenir shopping & decided to order the Ono fish tacos for lunch. I have never eaten fish tacos of any variety that were that DELICIOUS!!! I’m just sad that we discovered them the day before we left for home- I would’ve definitely gone back multiple times for those tacos! If you’re in the area, do your tastebuds a favor & stop there! You won’t regret it!!

These were such a surprise. Best tacos!!! Fish taco and carnitas. There was a long wait but in a shopping center so convenient. Parking was free too which is nice in Kona. The staff was friendly.
