This is the perfect stop when coming or going to the Jersey Shore. The burgers are a bit pricey but worth it for the quality and taste you receive. The only con I experienced at this location was it was a very long wait for our burgers. There were about 10 people in the kitchen area and it seemed like just one person cooking. The food did come out perfect which is always a plus!

Tried this Shake Shack along the Garden State Parkway rest stop for the first time. It was past 8pm when we visited and there was no waiting in line to order. Kinda disappointed to see the serving size of the cheese bacon fries. It was smaller than what I used to get from another location.

These guys are AWESOME! We love the characters who work here. What a fun place to go. You don’t feel like you’re at a rest stop, more like a comedy stop, and you get yummy food and shakes! Just what we need after a long drive and a long doctor appointment before heading back down the road!

Came here on a whim for lunch. The line went relatively quick and the employees seemed to want to hurry the food along for the customers. I got a double shack burger with fries and a vanilla milkshake. The burger was incredible and had amazing flavor. The shake was delicious too, however the fries were average- nothing spectacular about them. 100% recommend the shakes and the burgers though

The amount of people at the line was a SIGN. (It wasn’t too long of a wait—maybe five minutes max.) The double ShackBurger I got was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It tasted divine, and I wasn’t hungry before. The beef in the burger was FRESH. I couldn’t believe this was a fast food establishment. To top it off, the cashier (Shamonique B) was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely stop by this Shake Shack if you’ve got a moment.

I stopped on the Garden State Parkway rest area (Judy Blume) it was packed there was a long line for the bathrooms which I decided to pass on if I need to go I will stop at another rest area this one is kinda small compared to the rest of them.

I never ate anything from there….has some cheese burger, I forget what it was called, I may have been starving…but it was really good….coming from someone who very rarely if ever eats fast food.

Love love shake shack wish they had everything on their menu like in New York like the chicken nuggets that my kids love also my favorite burger from here is the shack stack it’s the one with the fried stuffed cheesey mushroom and a burger patty it is so delicious I’m normally not a burger fan but when it comes to this specific burger I can eat it all very flavorful and juicy also the cheese that’s on the inside of the mushroom I dipped the extra with my fries and it’s the best cheese fries You’ll ever eat besides that shake shack is the %1

I went here & was largely disappointed. You see the size of the shake? That thing was $6. That small cup…. Then I see the burger & it is also pretty small. It, though tastes better, is smaller than a McDs cheeseburger but with better meat. I am still hung up though on the size of the shake. So about $12 for just those two things…………….. wait till you see the price for other stuff like fries & the amount they give you. There’s an A Plus convenience store nearby the gas station which has food you can get for the same price…. more for the money spent too. If you are a truck driver… do not order from the shack shack. You gonna drive after you leave and find your stomach empty after an hour. Lol.
