This is what 5 Guys Burgers used to be before they changed something with their product. My lunch today was fantastic! The crispy onions on a good burger to begin with is a special treat these days. The food came out hot and fresh, and the Dragon fruit tea hit the spot. I haven’t tried their shakes yet, but I can imagine they are just as tasty. I am glad I’ve got a Shake Shack more local than the outskirts of Detroit in Livonia.

I got the hamburger with mushroom. It was huge and delicious! I didn’t have room for the fries I ordered. The orange freeze milkshake, well, I like Steak and Shakes better. There wasn’t much orange flavor. The place was clean and the young man that waited on us was really nice and came to our table to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely go back!

The first time I went to this restaurant. It’s pretty expensive if you’re taking the family. There are no special meals for children. The food was okay but I expected more for the prices. It’s burgers, fries, etc. My burger was pretty salty but nothing special. The fries were really good, though! The special shakes would be the only reason I went back here again, honestly. The staff at the counters were really great. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. The parking lot is shared by stores in a plaza, so there’s plenty of spots.

I can understand the hype around this restaurant. The food is filling and well made. The burgers are delicious with the cherry peppers. The fries are nice and crispy, and the root beer float ties it all together. It was definitely a wonderful experience for some folks who came from the west side of the state. They should definitely think about opening one in Grand Rapids

There was a lady that wasn’t acting the nicest in front us, but staff handled her like a champ. Burger and fries were cooked to perfection! However, most of the tables were a little dirty when trying to find a seat inside.

Today I visited Shake shack on its grand opening. The new Ann Arbor store is 3rd one in Michigan. They have everything offered at the other locations — classic burgers, hot dogs, crinkle cut fries, shakes and fresh-made frozen custard. The space is lovely with high ceilings with exposed metal beams. Lots of glass windows let in light. And all of the furniture is very environmentally friendly… I understand the tables are from reclaimed bowling alley lanes (I captured that in my pics) The burgers are juicy and seasoned well. We ordered a couple of the double smoke shacks and a couple orders of crinkle-cut fries. Adding in a shake and a large soda got us to 35 bucks with tax. So yeah it’s a bit pricey. The quality is great though. I only wish the crinkle cut fries were hotter in temperature. I think they were making huge batches of fries and keeping them warm to handle this evening’s huge crowds, so I will definitely be back to give them another try. I will also order booze next time. Check it out. It’s worth the trip. Feel free to like if you found this helpful.

Pretty good chicken nuggets, burgers fries and shakes. I don’t know if I would rate this above 5 Guys, but it’s very similar. A better atmosphere than 5 Guys. Both are terribly overpriced.
