Omg, the staff is not up to par. You can’t order without approval for alcoholic drinks however there is no one willing to help. Seem like it an issue to order in person and no friendly face to welcome anyone. This was my first time at a shake shack and was not pleasant. We are in a very upscale location and the customer service is not worth it. The food flavor is amazing but having more friendlier people on staff would help. Also there was an annoying alarm clock going off that would not stop. Not sure what the alarm clock was for but was on an iPad. We had to politely ask if they would stop that seemed to offend the staff.

Update: been making this the only location I visit. Every single time the quality and service is amazing. The 2 employees that have stood out to me over the last 3 visits I’ve made over the past 2 months, I do not remember their names, but each time the older black woman and young black man with a tiny bit of blonde in his hair, those two exemplify great service with a smile.

This is my first time eating at a Shake Shack and I really liked it!! It was very clean and I am a huge fan of the self-service screens for orders. There was an ample amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were super friendly and polite.

Placed my order at the kiosk, then went outside while I waited. I received a message instructing me to wait for another measure to pick up my food.

Like other reviews have mentioned, the fact that this place has self-service kiosks is pretty cool. I ordered the standard “shackburger” and it was alright. Not as good as Five Guys and other burger places at the same price point, but it was passable. There were some bothersome employees and people/employees in the corner meowing. Interesting.

I have struggled with an internal love hate relationship with this shake shack since it’s original management got the boot. It was at one point, an excellent Shake Shack location that produced quality food + looked like a great place to work. Like all good things that only lasted about a year. Since then, management has tumbled over and over again. The staff here could not care less about the customer, with the exception of maybe two people who seem to never be working past 5pm. The staff can be so rude, often unintentionally, callous even might be a better description. Spend plenty of time gossiping amongst themselves and on my last visit I had the pleasure of overhearing two girls with shower caps on their heads complaining to an associate about how they are being scheduled too many hours to qualify for government assistance, only to be handed bags of food and milkshakes (which were by the way not paid for and prepared prior to my own meal and the other 6 folks who had now all had to renew their 15 minute parking meters). So irritating.

A step above regular fast food.

Seating was very uncomfortable and it was a little warm inside. Burgers were undercooked, but once they were recooked, they were good. Likely won’t return to this location.

I had a hot dog and fries with a small lemonade. The hot dog bun was fresh, but slightly cold. The dog, too. The lemonade was on par with a powdered lemonade from the grocery store, such as Country Time or Crystal Light. The crinkle-cut fries were pretty good. I know this place is very popular, and it’s arrival in Denver has been momentous… but my first experience was less than great. It was just barely good.
