First off all I’ve been to the place more than once. Usually it’s a nice man who is helpful. This last time I went I got the same thing I always get and the lady charged me DOUBLE what the man charges me. I ordered the “lunch special” curry beef which is $6.97 it CLEARLY stated that on the sign hanging on the wall. The lady charged me $12.00 even. I got home and there was 4 PIECES of freaking meat!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid $12.00 for a plate of white rice!!!!! I will never be going back again. I will be going to Singh’s who prices stay the same and there ARE NOT HUGE ASS ROACHES in the building. A business in ruins and they making the people suffer!!!

Disregard the storefront –take away is better– the food was fantastic! We haven’t been able to find a good roti shop in orlando and was recommended to try Shakera’s. The curry goat roti was tender and well seasoned! We also had some doubles with good peppa! I had the boneless chicken roti and my friend had the oxtail. David, the owner was very cordial and laid back and the girl who waited on us was very friendly and smiley. We picked up some tamarind balls and kurma for the kids. All in all a very good experience. The roti is much betta than Singh’s and btw, so is the food! A must try!
