I think it was close to 20 years in between visits to Shakey Jakes. Stopped in to pick up some wings and a sandwich. Bar was lively, customers and employees friendly and having a good time. Had a beer while waiting for food, got to talk to some local folks. Found out they sell their own hot sauce, a nice little habanero deal. Picked up a bottle, always on the look-out for new hot sauces. The French dip was good as were the wings, I’d definitely get both again.

Nice service with casual outdoor seating. Side of broccoli and Mac and cheese were excellent. Cheesesteak potato skins and ribs were good but not great. Ribs were a bit dry. Margarita was a bit too sweet.

I went there on a mission. Ordered two drinks. Threw them out. Didn’t drink at all. After I ordered a third I was flagged. I was obviously sober. Didn’t drink a thing. Don’t bother. I was on a mystery shop and all they cared about was closing early. I overheard the bartenders. Score? ZERO

Google the place, I’m a rider and my friends. My friend has a LAMA vest. The guy was nice to say can’t serve us, jacket most be outside or none at all. We left. Done. So u know ain’t welcome.

Was a long time Costomer , was at a table at the bar with about 10 of us, were told we were being to loud it was 11 pm mind you , I was in shock. I realized why he said that, there were young kids in the dining room eating, in my opinion they should have not been there at that time anyway, so we left. I then went back recently and sat at a table for 15 minutes and the same man ignored us completely, we walked out! We’re done!
