The mojos and chicken were salty the pizza was good and staff were friendly they close the door at 7:30 now even though on Google says they close at 9

On Google it says they close at 9pm, buy we are here at 7:26pm and the door is locked. We can see the workers inside but they say they are close. It’s not the first time this happens to us, so it’s pretty upsetting . Other than this we like this place, food is good and staff is nice.

So disappointed, we ordered 3 pizzas and only one came out right. If you’re a shakey’s fan you would know shakey’s special has lots of olives, ours has no olives, instead it was smothered with tomatoes. Our Texas bbq chicken pizza has NO BBQ SAUCE. Since everything is takeout because of the pandemic, we found out about it when we opened the boxes at home. It’s 8pm, the restaurant is miles away from us. Shakey’s is not cheap, we were willing to splurge today and this is what we get.

Shakey’s is very nostalgic for me. I have always loved their pizzas and they still make them the same way they did when I was younger in Hawaii. They were way understaffed and the two guys there the night I went were busting their a##$ getting things done. The chicken wings were excellent and the pizza perfect as usual. Good place for kids and family. Just be patient.

This location is better than the new one on PCH. The workers are great, friendly, funny & helpful. Great pizza, beer, and mojo potatoes. I hosted my son’s 2nd bday here, reserved a cozy nook spot. They even kept the the bday cake safe in their fridge until we were ready, and provided cake cutting tool.

Real good buffet between the salad bar, the fried chicken section and the pizza.. they do a good business and good r&b style music as well. Good deal for the buffet where most basic places have gone up in cost. It’s very economical and good fresh food also. The pizza comes out hot and so does everything else. The salad bar is very fresh as well.
