The food was amazing. The cleaning could have been better, and multiple tables were dirty. I knew the guy was cleaning the tables because I saw him when we walked through the door…so they couldn’t say anything about it. Please clean better. No one wants to sit on a dirty booth bench at a dirty booth table.

This is one of the better kept Shakeys we have been to. During buffet hours there is never a shortage of food when we visit. My only gripe is that they do not have enough kids games. My kiddos get bored pretty quick.

I used to go to Shakey’s regularly as a child growing up in California. When we visited California, I knew we had to go again. We got the thin crust pizza with pepperoni, and it did not disappoint! It was delicious, just like I remember it. We also had the fried chicken and potato wedges/coins which were both crispy and flavorful. They even have a buffet lunch special during specific times in the day. The restaurant is vey spacious, clean, and even has an arcade area. The staff were also very pleasant and provided great and quick service.

Accessibility: there are 2 handicap parking spots directly in front of the entrance to this place and ramps to get to the front door. There are two small benches to sit at right outside the front doors, and the doors are pull to enter. Once inside it is all smoothe, flat ground, and wheelchair accessible restrooms. The seating is wheelchair accessible with tons of tables and moveable chairs.

We were really looking forward to visiting Shakey’s while in California, as we used to have them in our home state but they’ve all closed. We were not disappointed, it was just as delicious as we remembered it to be! We enjoyed the lunch buffet, and were happy with the quality and taste of the food, as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant. Just wish we could have brought it all home with us.

Pizza wasn’t warm and the choices were slim. Cinnamon bites were horrible & chewy!!!! Salad Bar was just okay but the fried chicken was really good. There was a lack of staff present and what was there were not friendly. More like overwhelmed. There were no seats due to the over-scheduled reserved table parties (bare tables were already reserved). People had to wait for tables. We were there when it first opened too.
