I never wrote a review before so that’s how you know it’s bad. For starters my waitress was dry she didn’t even mention it was happy hour, I had to hear another waitress tell the table next to me. Ordered a hennessy colada but they sold out of hennessy, alright cool I’ll take tequila instead. Ordered a custom boil with extras on the side such as broccoli & eggs. My food comes out & after the fact, I get the “oh so by the way we’re sold out in potatoes and broccoli” ummmm why tell me after it came out so I can just order something else or even just leave. I felt bad to send it back because someone already took their time to make it. The bill comes & I get charged for a full shrimp when I never even ordered a full. I was charged the correct 1/2 for the clams & for the lobster tail. The order was not repeated back to me after I ordered but I guess when the manager or whomever she was comes out she says I have to pay because I ate it already & the order was apparantly repeated TWICE by the waitress. It wasn’t even once but ok if I gotta pay fine it is what it is but that’s wrong .. I instantly regretted not refusing my food after it was already missing some stuff I originally wanted. Then I get charged a service charge & I’m like well I came alone why do I have that forced on my bill? & she goes well because this is a bar tab which I kind of was forced to sit in but again, if that’s how it is what can I do? Eventually she came back with the bill & waived the service charge & took off 10% of the bill which was like $7 to compensate for the full shrimp charge. But overall this place was not giving. I really hate being that person to write a review but they tried it.

Everything about this eatery is five stars! The cuisine was fantastic; there were several alternatives with delicious-looking food; I chose the shrimp basket. The d.j. had it very fun when I got there on Saturday, which was a very lively and exciting night, and I laughed, danced, and ate. The bartender Fluffy was incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable; she was wonderful. The cocktails were flavorful and potent. The manager, Fanny, is the cutest manager ever and made sure we were all right throughout the entire time. Amazing — I’ll definitely return!

I came to Shaking Crab for a second time and I sat by the bar where I was served by a bartender name “Fluffy.” I ordered a drink called Seafood on the beach. She made my drink so amazing and I’m not really a drinker so I was so pleased with how she made it. She was super sweet, great attitude & energy, just all around great customer service. I will definitely be going back again.

Came here a couple of days ago, although the food was mediocre my service was Great. Fluffy was very attentive to our needs. Drinks were good. We didn’t have to ask twice for anything. She made sure our buckets were empty. Service charge need to get rid of!! Although the service was great.

I came in for brunch on a Sunday with my two kids and boy did we enjoy ourselves I’ve been to other shaking crabs but this one was the best. Our waitress Chelsea was very helpful kind and efficient in her service! She help explain the menu kept our table clean and buckets empty! She was well spoken as well and whoever was in the kitchen the grits and shrimp was everything the music was definitely versatile and their photo drop was nice our waitress was kind enough to take our pictures definitely a 10/10 if you visit ask for Chelsea as your server I would definitely come back
