I love the food at the Troy Shalimar. Everything is always fresh. Seasoned & prepped perfectly. Recipes straight from Pakistan. Have eaten here at least 30 or 40 times & I have never had a bad experience. Tied for my favorite restaurant (with Magdalena’s in Valatie).

A nice Pakistan / Indian Restaurant. The price is reasonable. Parking off streets is free after 5:00pm. I tried another Indian restaurant but found no customer eat in during dinner time, so I backed off. So that was right decision.

When my family and I first walked in, we immediately noticed the antique and somewhat unfinished interior, especially the bathroom. However, when our garlic naan and butter chicken came to the table, we could NOT RESIST! It is creamy, has a subtle sweet and buttery flavor at first taste and spice builds gradually throughout. The garlic naan came in a decent to small sized portion, about that of an average hand, in the shape of a triangle. It’s taste was delicious and texture was crunchy! 10/10 food.

Best buffet in the region, and some of my favorite Indian food. The Vegetable Korma is to die for!! Low priced buffet, but the full meals are more expensive. Delivery…. takes a while. Same for take out. Still well worth the wait. The buffet now runs every day, which is AWESOME. Not a buffet to miss. Very casual, quiet, sometimes hard to get drink refills though.
