I’ve order here on Uber eats 12 times now! I absolutely love the vegetarian options and my boyfriend swears the chicken tikka masala is the best he’s ever had! The portions are big, food is always tasty and always comes fresh and hot. Ordered for pick up today and the place is so cute inside! My go-to Indian spot as long as I live in this Valley

The beef Masala was excellent. It was full of flavor with the right level of spice. The prices are very reasonable and the dinner meal will fill your stomach. Go for the Samosa appetizer, very good.

Her by myself to enjoy a dinner, but honestly it’s my last in this place! Food quality is terrible! I got the mix tandoori and the ground beef kabab tested very poorly, the Chicken was undercooked and did not feel right, Aldo I paid for the two garlic bread since intentionally they are made very small so you pay for two, I’m fine with that but the second bread brought to my table after I finished, no one even asked me if my food was ok and when I asked for additional tea I was given rude attitude that they can’t keep giving refills, witch I was not even excepting a free one anyway! So I told me just charge and bring the tea instead of complaining on the end he asked me if I want my check and I said not yet, but he brought it anyway! I wanted to enjoy my dinner and have tea as much as I enjoy and pay regardless but seems like it was to complicated for them! Zero start for poor service and poor food quality but give one start for the low light atmosphere that is nice to enjoy dinner, But not this place..

Served me a scalding hot bowl of soup with no warning. Not normal hot, absolutely scalding, the hottest thing I’ve ever had in my mouth. Now my throat is burned, it’s been hours and it still hurts. You’d think if you’re going to serve someone anything that hot you might at least say something?

This place has the most authentic and best tasting Indian food in LA. despite feeling like a high end restaurant the staff and owners try to form a relationship with you and treat you with a lot of respect. Highly recommend (get the mango lassi).

Shalimar has the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The interior is wonderful, with a European style place setting. The service is always on point. You feel important, cared for and well fed. Everything is fresh that hits the table and the atmosphere is an experience within it’s self.
