Environment was clean and friendly. Food came out pretty fast. Had good flavor and very good texture but I thought it needed a little more seasoning. The sauces on the table help “enhance” that to your liking. Pass and the mac and cheese as it was very bland and not creamy. Coleslaw was ok and the baked beans were very good. To give it a 4 or 5, in my mind, would require more authentic smoke flavoring. Could hardly taste any smoke and I’m wondering if it was liquid smoke. I thought the price for the ribs was high for what you’re given. We’ll likely go there again. I’ll focus on the chicken which was juicy and tender for a good value price.

Got my food take out style. When I picked it up it was already cold. BBQ was good but the sides were old and cold. Not too happy for the price I paid. Had to call more than once to place my order because they kept putting me on hold and not coming back to me. That should have been a sign!!

Just found this place & I have to admit that it was fantastic. I grew up with Stamey’s BBQ but this is my new favorite spot whenever I’m in town visiting my family. I had the massive BBQ sandwich, son had the ribs and my daughter had the Chicken wrap. Looking forward to our next visit in 30 days! keep up the good work…

This was some of the worst BBQ I’ve had in a while. I haven’t lived in the area long and wanted a lunch spot for BBQ and this was recommended. My pulled pork was watery and it tasted burnt instead of smoked. Plus the place itself was filthy. The windows next to the booth I sat in looked liked it been sprayed with sauce. On top of that, the bottles of sauce on the table were dirty and sticky. You could just see the filth all over the place. I would have considered trying the BBQ again hoping I just caught them on a bad day but after the lack of cleanliness I’ll never go back.

I recently moved to NC from AL. I had been looking for some good bbq the entire time I have been here. Shane’s was he first bbq restaurant in Greensboro that I enjoyed. Hands down it was the best bbq I have had since I have moved here. The guys that were working that day were excellent!! I will definitely be going back.

Employee working the cash register was very rude, we had to ask for her to repeat because she would talk so low. 3 out of 4 ordered the same thing..it was the only amount on the menu. One came out right the other 2 was wrong. Proceed to let the food runner know and she continued to argue.. then she messed up and said oh no that’s right I just said it wrong and put our food in front of us while in the meantime we were saying no its not. She put our food down and went and got our tickets.. it clearly showed we all ordered the same thing.. if you are a food runner don’t you look at the order with the tickets before bringing them out? Manager came out don’t actually think he was the manager btw. He saw the problem quickly. And took care of it. Oh btw they weren’t busy at all.. atleast us and another couple.. very lazy employees, environment.. first and very very last time I will ever step foot in that sorry place..

Person working cash register said it was her 4th day…didn’t know what came on any of the sandwiches I asked about. When I decided on an item she didn’t know how to ring it up and had to grab someone from the kitchen. Manager was close by and not helpful or nice.

Shane’s is closed and gone. It shows open on Google but the store is empty (deserted). Shane’s was once one time 5-star – no idea why they closed. The Greensboro location is also no longer listed on the Shane’s website.
