My fiancé and I arrived into the Perry location at 7:30pm (they close at 9)for dinner. The store was what seemed to be completely cleaned, no employees at the counter, sweet tea cannisters all emptied, and 1 employee was in dining area cleaning. We asked her if business was open to which the female replied yes and took our order. When we received our order, my Mac and cheese was cold. I called over the employee and told her I was sorry but my Mac and cheese was cold. She explained that was their last bowl. I told her that was okay but asked if she could please heat it up to which she replied “we don’t have a microwave. I’m sorry” she didn’t offer any other suggestion and walked away. We are upset because we feel that everything, all food included, was cleaned and put away before we even got here at 7:30. We were made to feel like an inconvienece in a way because we could clearly see all the closing duties of the night were already done. Normally we would understand but we came at 7:30, an hour and a half before closing. There were no other customers in here but us. We felt like we were inconvenience and more than likely received old food. My tenders were hard and Mac and cheese cold. We hate leaving a bad review on a business but we are very displeased!

I was a little disappointed with this location. I had order the pull chicken BBQ plate and my wife order the pull Pork BBQ plate. The meat was cold but the side were warm. I come from where the Original Shane’s in Union Grove Georgia is located. There is a big different from the quality and quantity is way better. I would think it would be the same here but not the case. Literally there only a few people when we came in so I would think the food would be Awesome but No I was a little disappointed. Not memorable my wife said and she’s loves BBQ. I don’t know if i would come back to this location. But if you in town and wanna try a original BBQ place from Georgia give a shot your experience might be different then ours. Thank you guys.

Our flight in was delayed but we made it 15 minutes before they closed. I don’t know how they did it but everything from the greeter, to the amazing bbq and the sweetest manager ( I’m calling her mama, because she treated us like family) I’m sure they wanted to close and get out of there but they all kept saying, “sit relax enjoy” no rush, while they cleaned up and closed. She knew we had a long flight in and still had two hours to go to Highlands, NC… thanks guys, -highly recommend!

I don’t eat here often but when my family and I do, the food is always as expected and the service is top notch. Honestly, some of the best service within city limits and especially for simply a counter service restaurant! Everyone working is kind and considerate…it goes a long way and never unnoticed! Today over lunch, whomever was minding the dining area was super efficient and sweet, and went above and beyond. Thank you Edgewood Shane’s!

The food was terrible. The macaroni was overcooked and bland, even salt and pepper couldn’t save it. The sweet tea had a terrible taste, although I used about 9 packs of sugar and Splenda. The water used to make the tea was awful which messed up the taste of the tea. I’m only giving it a 1 because the shane dog was edible. I would not recommend this location. The only thing good about it for us, was laughing at the sleeping customer whose head kept nodding. She was asleep there when we came in, and still there when we left.

Shane’s was delicious the first few times. Now the restaurant is getting very sloppy as far as service and the quality of food. My drinks are not full and this is without ICE. Got a wimpy side salad for toppings instead of fresh lettuce for my Big Mom sandwich. And the smoked wings are often times to burnt have to specify if you like them burnt or not. Great deals and specials every week only plus. PLEASE DO BETTER FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS!

Food at this location is always yummy and comes out quick! Personally, I would suggest the Homemade peach cobbler! It is so good and surprisingly tastes like you grandmother made it 🙂 Oh, and also try the chicken salad sandwich. Also pretty tasty.
