Clean & quiet. Order at the counter and take a seat. Food delivered to your table. Polite & friendly staff. I had the “Cowboy” burger and it was delicious. Not your typical machine cooked burger, this was fresh hot grilled to order. Yum! Lots of bbq options available. Get their app and order ahead to get reward points and reduce wait times or just get it to go! Will be back again to explore more menu items! I got their full rack baby back ribs plate to go. It came with your choice of 2 medium sides. I got the baked beans & crispy fries. The ribs were pull apart tender & meaty! Beans were hot and fries crispy as ordered. A very good meal. Staff was couteous and efficient. Their combo plates look good too. Put Shane’s on your “to do” list in Gainesville.

Ordered the chopped chicken plate. Not very good at all. Was very wet and didn’t have anything about flavor that said barbecue. Carolina BBQ sauce didn’t add much to cover up bland flavor of the chicken. Highlight was the cole slaw and peach cobbler.

I ordered from this Shane’s location via UberEats and when my order arrived, I found a small hair in my food. I thought maybe it could have been my cats hair since he was nearby, so I pulled it off and kept eating. Unfortunately, I found another hair, which made me look closer at my ribs and chicken tenders from my Sampler… There was a quite literally UNBELIEVABLE amount of hair coating my ribs, and even cooked into the breading of my chicken tenders (which confirms that it DEFINITELY could not have come from my cat). I am so truly disgusted that I don’t want to eat out at any restaurant ever again, especially not a Shane’s Rib Shack. This is a huge disappointment as this was my favorite BBQ joint. I’m highly dissatisfied and disgusted with my experience with this restaurant.

Disappointed for the 2nd time, I had peach cobbler on the taste buds and wasn’t going to be happy until I got some. I placed a take out order of 2 dinner plates and a large peach cobbler stopped and got vanilla ice cream on the way home and was looking forward to digging in. The bbq tasted like it had been baked in the oven no flavor what so ever after a few bites wasn’t even in the mood to eat anymore but you can say my dogs had a big dinner then I open the peach cobbler only for it to be burnt no brown but burnt beyond disappointing. I couldn’t even bring myself to call and complain because the last time I ordered a bbq salad and returned to work and opened the box and it was just a salad no BBQ. I should have checked my food before leaving with it

This is another location that doesn’t care if the Door dash people have your address wrong for the second time!I’m done with Shane’s for good and will not ever spend my money there!The final solution from your marketing director for me to order through your app was to call restaurant first and mention the name Anthony and I would be taken care of!Sounds like some Tony Soprano b.s to me!I guess Anthony was their code word to make sure I got the drop it on the floor and spit on it twice treatment! .Now they’ve blocked my reviews on Facebook for telling this story which was nothing but the truth!After reading the terrible reviews about the food at this place with hairs all in the food and the many reviews about diarrhea I wanted to Glad you delivered food to some hotel in Gainesville!

Shane’s catered my daughters wedding and they exceeded our expectations. We used them for full catering service and could not have been more pleased. The food was hot and tasted good. They got there when they were supposed to and even went around asking if we needed anything while we were eating. The 4 people they provided to work were outstanding. They cleaned everything up and provided us with the leftovers in covered tins. Highly recommend them.
