My husband and I travel all over the country for business and leisure. We always make it a priority to try the local bbq wherever we are. That being said, this is by far the worst “food” we have ever been served. I say food as this is not bbq!!! $60 for over-cooked ribs, with no rub and certainly not smoked. Box macaroni and cheese! Loaded fries were nothing to get excited about – cheese whiz and pork. Potato salad wasn’t half bad, but the serving was about 3 spoon fulls. Overall, the ribs should have been the highlight of the meal and were absolutely terrible. Definitely not “low and slow!” Doordash has 5400+ reviews with 4.6 stars. Pretty sure that was paid for as Google shows many reviews similar to mines.

Best ever! They have an entire gluten free menu and were so helpful. They even talked to the kitchen and pulled out an allergy guide for all the food. The food was incredible and the service was amazing. I will be going there as much as I can. The restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean, and family friendly.

They were friendly. Super Fast! The food was good… really good… just one thing.. they did not give me any sauce for my pulled pork. Every other restaurant gives you their sweet stuff or ask you. That was a major let down! I didn’t know I had to ask. I would think it’s common to give it. Sauce is always given.

I placed an order for Shane’s on Door Dash. The Door Dash driver called me about 15 minutes after my food was supposed to be delivered and said that the Shane’s employee wanted to talk to me. When she got on the phone she told me that someone stole my order from the store. I told her that they could just remake it because I wasn’t in a rush to get it. The girl then told me that her boss doesn’t allow them to remake stolen food because it causes them to lose money so I would just need to cancel my order. Of course when you cancel an order where a driver is already there to pick up your food they don’t give you a refund so they wanted me to cancel my order, pay for food that they allowed to be stolen, and then me end up with no food. I told the girl that if they are having food stolen so much that their boss has met with them about it then they might want to figure out a better way to operate how they handle Door Dash orders. Her reply to me was “well that’s life sometimes”. A straight up clown operation.

In March 2023, I went to Shane’s and got chicken tenders-strips to go on a Friday night for two people. I haven’t been to this place in a long time. I think their hidden location made me forget about them. It wasn’t crowded, just a few families eating in. The service was very quick, the cashier provided good customer service, answered all my questions, and quickly rang up my order. It felt as if my order was ready in three minutes. So very quick but I’m not sure how quick. Before my order was handed to me the cashier looked inside the bag to make sure all my sauces were provided. One was missing but she made sure I got it. I was really impressed with her taking that extra step. Had she not done so, my child would have been upset their sauce was excluded. That cashier was properly trained and that is what made the difference between a happy customer and upset customer! Shout out to Shane’s for proper QA training. That quality check is so important. Regarding the taste of the food, the chicken strips were very good and tender. I hadn’t remembered them being this good and the sauces were yummy too. I decided I like Shane’s chicken strips better than Zaxby or Chick-FIL-a. I’ve made a switch when in the mood for a chicken strip dinner. I’ll see you on another Friday night, Shane’s!

I typically don’t leave bad reviews, but me and my family ate here today. The food is a little pricey, I got the sampler, my husband got the half rack and my son got the Dad Bbq sandwich. I got ribs, tenders, and pulled pork with baked beans and Mac n cheese, the food is very bland, the baked beans are burnt tasting, the Mac n cheese taste like it came straight from a box, the ribs had no flavor, the chicken tenders tasted freezer burnt. You really had to sauce the food down with bbq sauce just to give it some flavor. $54 for over priced, bland food.
