Stopped at this BBQ/seafood place on the way through Shreveport. They have a huge menu and plenty of options to choose from on it. We opted for the catfish and frog legs. Both were good as were the sides that came with it. Surprisingly, there is a drive-thru here and it was convenient to use it during the trip. I cannot comment on the barbecue but the fish and frog legs were not bad at all.

We eat at Shane’s about once a month. Sometimes we order takeout but we usually dine in. Either way, we have not yet been disappointed. The quality of service dinning in or the drive through is always good or excellent. We have tried most items on the menu and I cannot think of one item we have been disappointed with. The ribs are my personal favorite but all the bbq items I have ordered have been great. Another favorite of mine is the fish plate. Definitely worth giving this place a shot if you haven’t already. Don’t forget to ask for some Shane’s sauce to go along with just about anything.

Got the shrimp basket and it and the hush puppies were fine. I paid extra to get macaroni and cheese as a side and they really served the cheap kraft macaroni right out of a box. It was terrible and really brought the whole meal down.

We are from Lafayette louisiana, and every time we come to visit Shreveport we go to Shane’s! The Dungeness crab was amazing, and you must try the grilled alligator! Cara was a great waitress, and the manager was so sweet. 5 stars!!

Took forever to get a waitress and a couple sat down after us and had a waitress before we did. Don’t bother complaining to a so called manager, she doesn’t care AT ALL. We had to ask for the cheese sticks we ordered and when we got them they were not fresh. The cheese had already cooled down.

I tried this place about a month ago and was NOT impressed…but decided to try it again and not at the end of the day and man the crawfish were sooo good this time….perfect spice and flavor and was pleasantly surprised…I would recommend giving this place a try during the day and not at night

1 star for the stuffed shrimp. Too hard, too dark, too little seasoning…they were bad. These need to be removed from their menu. Shreveport has some of the best stuffed shrimp in Louisiana, but do NOT get any from Shanes. Go to Orlandeaux’s, Eddie’s, or anywhere but here.
