When my wife and I crave chicken wings Shanghai Bistro sates our craving. The wife enjoys their straight spicy chicken wing with just the red pepper topping. I on the other hand enjoy the spicy sweet Korean chicken wings. Asian style chicken wings really have that special unique experience no matter what state you’re eating them but Shanghai Bistro’s ticks all the boxes in taste, spice, crunch and size.

Food is always consistent and great. I personally judge a restaurant by their fried rice. So many Chinese restaurants get this one wrong, Shanghai bistro gets it right every time. My eight-year-old said “it’s the best food I’ve ever had in my whole life.”Lol.

Food and service was a hit or miss. I’ve ordered twice here, to go. I don’t think I’d actually eat there. The place could do with a bit of cleaning. There are dishes that they do well, and some that’s only decent. Price is decent for the area. It’s still Woodland Hills after all.

Terrible food, dirty restaurant, and the risk of food poisoning here. I’d spend my money elsewhere. The lunch special I got was Mongolian beef and the beef had a horrible, fishy smell to it. I couldn’t even eat it. The rice was dry and the the egg drop soup had a terrible texture. It was like goopy snot. The salt and pepper chicken wings were okay but they were dry, looked burnt, and had that old oil taste. I wouldn’t order anything here again. It’s not worth it.
