The food was hot and fresh made to order. The table was dusty and the floors needed sweeping. I was the only person there at 12:30 on a weekday which made me a bit nervous seeing how I was traveling and didn’t know much about the area. Overall the food was good, but the counter help acted as if I was bothering him.

We had the General tsao chicken and sweet and sour chicken with fried Roscoe along with the fried wantons. Everything was exceptionally delicious. a lot of similar Chinese restaurants have started to water down their sweet and sour sauce. Not so here! While we have similar options much closer to home, we will drive the additional miles to eat here when the craving for Chinese food hits!

As far as strip mall Chinese restaurants go, this one is pretty good. It’s conveniently located right off the main drag in Skiatook, and visible from the road. Walking in, I was pleased to see that other than the ubiquitous combo menu board the interior decor was nicer than expected, with a recently done Chinese country mural scene. The counter staff was friendly and helpful and the tables and kitchen looked clean and well-ordered. The food offerings are standard- the menu could have been cribbed from any other Chinese takeout dive like it, but prices were lower than expected, across the board. The food was fine, if not great, and portions were generous. All in all, it’s about what you’d expect it to be, but with a better overall experience than most.

I was over charged by $2.00. I ordered over the phone based off their website’s menu. When I picked up my meal I was charged more than expected. I brought it to his attention that I was charged a different price than the website, he responds by saying that it wasn’t their website. So I pull up the site and ask, “Is this this establishment?” He says yes. I click the menu and show him the menu price. He says that’s not their menu. I respond by saying isn’t this your website though? He tells me yes but that menu is old. I tell him that it’s not my fault they haven’t updated their website and that their menu states one price. He proceeds to close the window and walk away. There isn’t public access to the lobby so I drove off.

I love this place. Everything is great! Esspecially the Lo-mien and Wontons. The service is wonderful and the prices are good for the amount. #1 in the region in my opinion. Its the hole in the wall places that you get the best food. 15/10 my girlfriend and I have been going here for a while now.

I threw my food away because the place needs to be bleached from floor to ceiling!!! It was THE DIRTIEST restaurant I have EVER been to and I’m almost 50 years old! I’ve seen a lot, but NEVER ANYTHING like this. People in town say, “Just go through the drive thru”. Are you serious? YOUR FOOD IS BEING COOKED IN THAT SAME KITCHEN!!!!!
