All Chinese restaurants should strive to be like this one. Easy way to order, great customer service, friendly, and great tasting food. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean as well. This is my second time ordering from Shanghai express and it’s always been a great experience. I will definitely be back to order more take out and alway to dine in as well.

This restaurant is between 3 and 4 stars. I ordered the General Tso’s dinner platter. The fried rice was awesome and the wonton soup was good. The Chicken was meh, I feel like they did not put enough sauce on it, instead they coat the bottom of the platter in sauce (??). But I would order here again, it’s a great value and you get a lot of food.

I used to come here weekly. The owners are extremely friendly and greet all their regulars, which are many, by their first name. Their food is always well prepared and tasty; however, unfortunately, and more than likely necessary by rising costs, the price for the lunch specials have gone from 9.95 to 11.95 to 13.95 in just a few months. I can no longer eat there weekly, as much as I enjoy it, and will have to limit my visits to an occasional treat. There are many local Chinese restaurants that offer lunch ‘specials’ below $13.95.

I NEVER write reviews but had to this time. Very First time eating from here today and LAST time! NEVER EVER again! OVERCHARGED, OVERPRICED, the food made us nauseous. (49.00 for egg foo young, chicken wings – that looked dry, pork fried rice, 2 Egg rolls and a small plain fried rice with egg.) and STILL tipped the delivery guy. Not what we expected at all, especially for what we paid for compared to what we received (order was so small the bag was rolled down twice and stapled). The best part was the man who took my order over the phone was very pleasant Otherwise NOT a good experience at all Thank you, but No Thank you.

Been coming here on and off for years. Being Chinese I typically prefer more authentic Chinese food, but when I’m craving the westernized takeout version, this place is my go to. I just go for and enjoy the fried rice and noodle dishes. I also like hot and sour soup but they could really take the white pepper down a couple notches. Portions are great and the owner is very friendly and nice.
