You’ll have to be aware that it’s a prix fix menu so you get what they’re serving and only can choose a medium or large portion. You can buy dessert if you want but it’s not included in the price of the main meal. The drinks offered are barley tea and water, or you can buy a kambucha

I took my mom here for lunch. We loved it! The menu is basically whatever the chef decides, 2x/day. But there were a variety of well prepared, delicious vegan and gluten free foods included. I had the best lentil soup ever, and the perfectly prepared black beans with ginger and onions were mouthwatering. Even though mom didn’t care for the creamy collard greens with kale (I liked it just fine), she had plenty to eat. Tea or water is included, and we shared the key lime pie for dessert- yummy!

Very tasty vegetarian food. It makes me feel healthy but also tastes really good. All the different veggies had good flavor and the lentil soup was good too. Would definitely come back again since I hear they switch up some of the vegetables each time. I also really like how there’s no choice of what to order, just medium or full. I don’t like to make decisions so that’s perfect. The (vegan?) pie is good if you like coconut flavor.

1) After a meal here, you will walk out feeling energized and powerful 2) The plate for the day comes in two sizes, medium or full size. If you have any kind of taste buds, run, don’t walk to eat here. Vegan or not, you’ll love this. I got it to go but part of me wishes I had stayed to eat as they have a nice variety of spices and sauces at eat table to add to your food, but mine didn’t actually need anything added. It was amazing, perfectly seasoned, salted and, cooked to perfection. Each item on my plate had it’s own distinct flavors that worked well with everything else on the plate. Would give 10 stars if I could. I’ve been vegan a while now and it was my first time there. Very very impressed!

I love this place. I can’t wait to go back. The food is so clean and healthy. It’s vegan and whole food plant based. Chef has 6 basic options of meals that he cooks. He chooses one of them each day and that is the menu meal offering for the day. The customer picks large or medium plate of food. The food is so healthy and delicious. This restaurant is a “keeper”, a hidden gem.

This seems to be the only Shangri-la location in the Bay Area that has mango pie, strawberry pie, and pineapple pie! I’ve seen the mango pie before, but only in Sacramento. Pineapple and strawberry seem to be unique to this location. And the meal of the day was great as usual. Service was just okay, the lady who took our order was playing on her phone most of the time.
