Food tastes homemade and delicious! Great service in a clean place. Not overpriced. After you order in line first, you fill your own drink around the corner. Then, the waitress brings your order to your table where you chose to sit, etc…

I’m always nervous of mom & pop restaurants, but this place is great! You walk in and feel like you went back in time to a place where everyone is friendly and the food is good. It’s a counter order and delivery system which is efficient. By all means make sure you get the blueberry pie. Great place and on my list for regular dining now.

What a disappointment, I’d seen the decent ratings here on Google, saw some decent pictures of the food, and went about 25min out of my way to check this place out. The whole experience was just odd, it started ordering our food at the register, and getting badgered if we wanted to add on a bunch of different side items. We didn’t receive our drink cups. Sat down, had our cookies that were actually pretty good. A couple of folks were working on the soda machine, the whole time we were here, so we didn’t pester anyone about drink cups, until our food arrived, hoping they might finish the tinkering at the soda machine. When we did get drinks, the calibration was way off, all seltzer, very little syrup. The biscuits and gravy had a very odd lemon flavor to it. The Pastrami was a pretty small, kind of sad little sandwich, not bad, but not great. The tots that I ordered with my pastrami, were pretty decent, but nothing was worth traveling across town for, by any stretch of the imagination.

Shannon’s reminded me there are still places I can get a wonderfully filling breakfast for under $10. I ordered 2 pancakes and 2 eggs with cranberry juice. In two more words: Deliciously Satisfying. Colin the owner was extremely personable and welcoming. My hope is to make this place a regular haunt. The menu is worth exploring and with some delectable deserts. So if you think there is only big food chains out there just WAIT. Get to Shannon’s Casual Cafe

Came across this place by accident, and I’m impressed by the quality of the food! It was excellent. Ordered pot roast and liver with onion, both were homemade and tasted like it. Would definitely recommend! Kudos to the chef!
