I don’t know much about Chicago, except negative media, but this Chicago style cooking at Sharberry is superb and incredible. The most succulent gyro that I have had in years and the fries cooked to perfection. The prices are customer friendly and the restaurant is comfortable and clean. I am sold on this place, this is a hidden diamond of great food and quality service were you wouldn’t expect it. Don’t pass by this outstanding cooking any longer. You have to stop in and try it for yourself!

My business partner and I stumbled on this hidden gem Friday, and vowed to return yesterday and eat; it was so worth it. Come to find out the chef is not only a Chicago native, as am I, but is related to southside barbecue royalty in our hometown. My BP said it was some of the best barbecue she’s ever eaten. The only thing that was left to do after our meal was returned to our respective hotel to take a nap … He made me proud today. #YumYum.

Ordered 3 catfish plates and a pork chop meal. My daughter ate her catfish meal and she instantly spit it out. She said it didn’t taste right. I thought she was overreacting until I had a piece that taste like cleaning chemicals in the catfish. The other side dishes were fine but a chemical taste like fabuloso on the catfish is unacceptable. I will not be returning and this was my first time coming.

First time here and the food was excellent! Had the fried pork chops, potato salad, and collard greens; so delicious! Only four stars on service because we were a large group and could have used more servers. Highly recommend SharBerry’s Kitchen!

Great customer service and lovely personality. The owner was informative and professional. The location is perfect for those stopping for gas, doing laundry or passing through Douglasville Ga. I ordered the sweet tea and a slice of her homemade pound cake with banana pudding(no bananas) just the way I like it.

The food was very good. Cooked fresh. This restaurant had a great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Welcoming environment. I can highly recommend the buffalo wings from here. Kids loved the burgers.

This is the worst place for rib tips. I’m from Chicago and you will never get 7 rib tips in a large order. They were not fresh and on the menu it says 1 lb so they threw in a bunch of fries on the bottom of the container added 7 not so fresh tips then measured. Never go there again

This was my first time here. Being from Chicago, I can say this was a real taste of home. I had an Italian Beef, wings w/ mild sauce, a bag of hot crunchy curls and a pizza puff for my little one ($28 in total, not bad). Too bad they sold out of rib tips super fast ( they were only open for 45min when I arrived). All of my food was fresh, very delicious and nicely proportioned. Can’t wait to try other things on the menu. The staff was decent. Not overly friendly, not rude either, but there to help and knowledgeable about the menu. The establishment was also nice and clean, with good music playing in the background. I appreciated that. I wish they would open up a little earlier than 12pm, and open on Mondays and/or Tuesday as well.

Went on a Sunday around an hour before closing. I originally went because online I saw turkey wings w/rice & candied grapes. I found out the menu changes sometimes to offer something different for Sunday dinner & dessert. Being in the industry that made me SUPER excited because if change the menu often, that means their customers enjoy everything. I ordered the chicken w/rice & gravy, collard greens, yams & cornbread. I didn’t get a dessert because of MY preference. But they looked GOOD! They offered banana pudding, banana pudding cheesecake & various cookies. The food was very good. It was perfectly seasoned, the white meat chicken was moist, the greens tasted like home & the yams were exactly sweet enough. The cashier was very knowledgeable about every detail of what was offered with what & loved her down to earth vibes, which is always a plus! I will be visiting everytime I’m over that way!! I’m a really big foodie & look for rare gems like this. There was one thing I disliked. Being in the industry I can tell when cashiers aren’t use to getting tips. Her thank you response was really grateful & genuine. I gave her roughly $6/$7.
