Good food, good value. Bar, pool table type atmosphere with mariachi band is kind of unusual. The band would come around and ask for tip after performance.

The shrimp had an odd after taste. I thought that by eating like a local the seafood would be good and it wasn’t. The other plate ordered was fried fish and that also had a “dirty water flavor”. Margarita had cheap ingredients so immediately makes you feel woozy. It gets sketchy after a certain time, people keep walking in and out. Doesn’t seem safe for tourists.

This is a small town bar and grill. Locals gather there to watch sporting events and play billiards or dance. The chefs specials are usually really good. If your hungry and its late out, go here. Don’t let the bar scene scare you.
