I’ve been here twice now and have to say this place has really good food and great service. On our first visit, they were short staffed, and the bartender was our waitress. She never complained, and we couldn’t tell they were short with how well she handled it. As a group, we had the ribs, sharkys burger and shrimp scampi pasta. Everything was delicious. My only complaint is that we ordered the pizza board as an app and they came out cold. Other than that, we will be back many more times.

The fries were fresh and crispy. My husband and I enjoyed it, could’ve had less seasoning on it. Felt like they dumped a bunch on, but that’s just our preference. Some people might like a layer of seasoning on their fries !

went here with my boyfriend for the first time because we both love seafood. not crowded at all on a Saturday night – we were 1 of 3 tables. food was piss poor. was not impressed. we couldn’t even finish our entrees. appetizers were decent. we had the fried scallops & bang bang shrimp – really good!! drinks were either watered down or tasted like pure rubbing alcohol. I had twin lump crab cakes & he had fish tacos. crab cakes were soft & undercooked & fish was hard & may have had pieces of bone in it. I also had the MD crab soup, which was probably the best part of the meal. waitress was very sweet, nice & informed about the menu. really liked her! don’t think we will be returning – highly disappointed.

Pleasantly surprised by Sharkey’s. We were in the neighborhood intending to go to the restaurant across the street but the wait there was over an hour. We walked across to Sharkey’s and much to our surprise found plenty of seating available. I can’t understand why this place wasn’t full. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They have a huge full bar and outdoor deck seating both covered and uncovered.

Their crab bisque was very good. The steamers were very tiny, I know they’re little necks, but super small even for a little neck. Their broiled seafood combo was delicious! Service was good and they have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice.

Sharkey’s is terrific pub grub joint in the Tacony neighborhood with an emphasis on seafood. But no mistaking, everything is good. Started with the sausage trio, which was excellent. My mom and girlfriend both had the tacos. I had the roast beef sandwich. I always go for the tater tots when a restaurant offers them, and Sharkey’s are spectacular! It’s practically around the corner from my Mom’s house, so we’ll be back.

best nonna ever!
! I went there last night. Good atmosphere the waitress and bartenders were nice. The last time I was there I got the seafood salad that a friend had recommended it was great! Unfortunately last night it wasn’t really good I don’t think there was any crab meat in it a couple scallops and a couple shrimp. Mostly lettuce onions and cucumbers it would’ve been a great garden salad. If your recipe changed it really shows.

The 2 out of the five stars is for the food. Otherwise there’d be no stars if it was allowed. It was pretty decent, especially the crab cakes. The waitress wasnt writing anything down. Food came back wrong. Asked for napkins she came and opened a package at the table while we were eating our soup. After I asked for a water she brought it and then proceeded to open my straw for me then put it on the table. Two big nono’s. Then after going to put the right order in she came back a bunch of times to “check and make sure” it’s what we ordered. It was a cheesesteak…steak cheese and bread. I’m sure if she was writing things down there wouldn’t have been so much confusion and wasted food going back to the kitchen. She was very apologetic though. No attitude or anything I’ll give her that. Overall the experience eh..probably won’t return due to the service; even though the food was pretty decent.

Got sick both times I went there and this time was much worse, literally threw up twice after I had some shrimp and only drank half of my draft beer. Last time I had fried fish and draft beer and felt pretty sick but did not throw up.

Didn’t eat. Just grabbed a quick drink. Bartender was great though. She had a very friendly personality.
