I really wanted to love this place. The atmosphere maybe nice, but the food is horrid. It’s no better than red lobster. We were rushed out by the staff. We had our food within the first 20 minutes of sitting down. Dried out cheeseburger and a overly seasoned grouper. It was really disappointing. This was our first time in Panama city and we wanted to have our big ticket meal. Spending $120 between 2 people and got nothing but garbage food. The drinks are good though, and the ambiance was really nice. They need to step their game up with food though. If you are a foodie like me, find somewhere else.

Its right on the beach with outside seating. The food was good and the service was fast. We were also seated almost immediately on a Saturday. Parking was a little difficult to find but there was plenty of paid parking across the street.

Food was just ok, but hey we had free vouchers so we gave it a shot. The hamburger description on the menu gave the impression of a fresh patty made in house, cooked medium-well which is fine. Get the burger and it’s well done and of the consistency and taste of a pre-formed frozen burger patty, no flavor or seasoning present. The added cheese, bacon and mushrooms were delicious however. The fries were really good, and the Thai shrimp appetizer was delicious, but the stars of the meal were a big let down. The panhandle fish meal/platter was also void of any seasoning aside from the salt you could dump on it at the table, which if you know how to cook isn’t the best time to introduce seasoning. The kids chicken fingers came from the frozen section of the nearest grocery store and would not have passed for chicken if I hadn’t ordered it myself. The kids pasta was a big hit with two of the children so…there is that. Maybe this place is known for there drinks, I did not take part in any of that so I wouldn’t know. I would not recommend this place nor would I have any reason to return.

We drove from destin to panama beach just to eat here! I have to say that Food was really delicious! I ordered the mahi bowl and it was amazing! I loved everything. The only thing I did not like was the person who was at the front desk. She had actitud and was kind of rude. Out of that, everything else was good!

Decent for the scenes. This is not a 5 Star restaurant but they aren’t trying to be that. This spot is great if you have a family and you’re trying to have a good meal. Great scenes and plenty of opportunities to catch live music on the right night.

A truthful review from tourist who’s been to more than a few beach towns; A better version of a beachside tourist trap! Outdoor beautiful beach views, a ton of people, a 70min wait but better than average service and American food in this type of setting. Don’t show up at dinner time on a busy weekend starving, anyone who’s ever been on vacation knows to plan ahead. Good drinks, my family enjoyed their shrimp, burgers and fries, I loved the beach and atmosphere.

Awesome resturaunt. We come here once every time we come to Panama. Food is great and price is not bad. Drinks are awesome. My 7yr old son scream to come here. I got the grouper with crab meat on top and it was awesome. The guys got the platter and said it was the best so far since we were down here. My grandma got the redfish and said it was amazing. Service was awesome as always. The appetizer platter was awesome as well and a great deal. Will always come back

So my wife and a few friends dined here our first night in Panama city. Their food was great! I had the crab cakes with mash while my wife had the island burger? I think it was called. It had pineapple on it and she said that it was delicious. The only thing i can say that kind of got us out of there quicker than we would like was the fact that it was super busy and crowded with a 45 min wait (no reservation) and that we were set right by the beach shower where everyone washes off the sand. And when I tell you… you don’t want sandy beach feet mist blowing in your face while you’re trying to enjoy your meal. So, we told the waiter to just bring our food to go.

Sharky’s is our favorite lunch spot! We absolutely love coming here when it’s slow so we can pick our favorite spot with an ocean view. You can literally walk down the stairs toward the ocean and put your feet in the sand as well. You have the ocean, the sand, and one great restaurant all in one place! I usually take pictures of my food and rate it here. But this time, I was so ready to dig in I skipped all the pics. So, no matter what you get here just order whatever your hearts desire and you won’t be disappointed!

Very popular spot. I came for some crab cakes and wasn’t disappointed. There is an awesome pirate ship play area for kids which my kids loved. You may be seated inside or go upstairs to the second floor deck overlooking the beach where you will be provided shade and a great view. The service was good, but I can’t say “excellent” simply because when we went there was a line out the door. But that is to be expected at a popular beach side seafood restaurant. We all had a good time including the kids AND the Mister, and they’re all pretty picky eaters!
