My very first time ever trying authentic Jamaican food and I am impressed with how delicious the food was. Oxtail was delicious along with the rice. The oxtail had a unique sweet taste. For not being a veggie eater I liked the cabbage that was included in the order. Sweet plantains are perfect. Jerk Chicken is also tasty and rich in flavor despite it’s spiciness that caught me by surprise lol. Brown stew chicken also a plus and finally the curry goat was one of the best dishes with goat that I ever tried. This establishment definitely gives you hunger satisfying portions for your money. The front desk clerk is so kind and friendly that she is always asking me to spread the word which I always respond with “of course” with enthusiasm. I like supporting smalls businesses like this one which is why I order from this place at least once every other week that’s how much I am fascinated with this food.

Very delicious food. So good. The Mac and cheese was disappointing, not special and the rice didn’t have any flavor. Wish they would pour the sauce of the jerk/curry/ whatever you got onto of the rice because it makes it 1000% better. The curry chicken was my favorite. Great home cooked meals you’ll love. Better than some others I’ve tried in the past

While the food tastes okay, if they don’t have something they will replace it with something you did not ask for (WITHOUT informing you). Unacceptable. I swear the food tastes different every time and the presentation is always sloppy. Honestly, I’d go elsewhere.

Stopped in here for lunch while in town. The shrimp roti was good. The place is on the small side. So seating is VERY limited. Think there were only 2 tables. Also there was no bathroom for customers.

I purchased a curry goat and curry chicken dinner with a side of macaroni and cheese. For $31 dollars, it was a waste… the taste was just ok; I couldn’t taste any seasoning whatsoever and I added a pic of the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was absolutely disgusting. I will not buy from them again.

Roaches that’s all …. Was waiting on my order that I placed on doordash said it was ready so I came to pick it up but it wasn’t ready. Had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for it to be ready as I was waiting. I saw roaches is growing up the walls and it just made my skin crawl. I like the food but I don’t think I’m going to visit again…

Absolutely was greeted with love. The older lady that served me was so nice. I love to support small businesses like this. I wanted to try the hibiscus drink. Definitely will go back. Jerk Chicken was good. Oxtails was great as well. I usually ate Jamaican food from GoldenCrust in Irvington. And a few spots in Plainfield. Gotta give this spot a 9.5. Owners are inviting and loving. Check them out if your in the area.

The food is good. The rude old man in the window needs , a better attitude. Especially, when they always have the orders wrong. Instead of admitting there was a mistake , it was easier for him to be a NASTY OLD MAN! The lady behind the counter is always pleasant.
