Nice small town bar and grill on the banks of an Ozark lake. Woodsy decor, a nice “party room” where we spent most of the day. The food was a cut above your average “bar food”. They appeared to have a modest selection of beers, and some hard liquors. I don’t drink, didn’t pay attention to that. Table shuffleboard appears to be a popular pastime here. The theme from cheers comes to mind in this place. A bit of a smoky atmosphere/smell, pretty common for this type of place, something to be alert to if one is sensitive to such things

Out of towners here visiting. We went there thinking we might get something good to eat. There was another couple there and I asked them what was good to eat and they said everything. We shared a tenderloin and it was really good. When we asked how big it was, was told it was gonna be huge but when the tenderloin came it was just bun size. It was really good though. It would be nice if they would have another entrance for the dining area instead of going thru the smokey bar.

Great little restaurant and bar. We had $1 tacos on Thursday night special. The tacos were great. They were big, had fresh lettuce, the tomato chunks were a great size at least 3/4″x3/4″. Plenty of cheese and sour cream if you wanted it. They also gave us salsa and taco sauce. Just might be the best tacos I have ever had. Oh, and did I mention they were $1. I would have given 5 stars, but they allow smoking inside.

Had high hopes from all the prior reviews read.. but was very misleading. Very poor service (aside from a little old lady at the end)(I think it was probably the owner) ordered two simple meals both were very low quality. Got a burger and country fried steak. The burger and bun was soggy and saturated with grease. And my country fried steak tasted like a McDonald’s chicken nugget.. like what..? But we got past it and ate anyways since that alone cost $30. The real negative part was the customer service. The old woman that seated us/took our order was a real grouch and had no customer service whatsoever (despite how nice and respectful we tried to be) now we’re home and stomachs are both upset from the food. We will not return.

Sheila’s Restaurant has big hamburgers and awesome fresh cut fries. If you’re in the mood for a light lunch a kids mushrooms and Swiss burger is a great choice.
