Cool concept! Everything packaged for takeaway or sit down and enjoy. The food is delicious! Pan seared red snapper is out of this world and amazing crab cakes. Prices are great and the service is super friendly. A welcome addition to the area. Oh, and the collard greens…..wow!

Ate at Shelle’s Bistro to Go at 818 Surfside Dr. (next to Sundown) for the first time. A quick review: FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! The concept is: Food is prepared today, boxed, chilled, and ready to take out. You can eat in for sure, and the dining area is way cute and beachy, but should you be in a hurry or prefer the confines of your lanai, TV room, or maybe just having you feet in the sand whilst eating, they make it easy for you.

The food here was truly excellent. Shelle’s unique operation of all food served ready to eat in takeout boxes produced a delicious speedy meal. We could have taken to go out eaten there. It’s a small place, but wasn’t crowded so we ate there. I had the pan seared snapper over cheese grits with a side salad. It was delicious. Perfectly cooked. Her salad comes with pasta, but due to dietary restrictions she made a small salad for me without! My friends had then crab cakes and stuffed snapper. All said they were very good! Her home made key lime pie was insanely good and tart. She said she rotates her menu around so check her FB page. The pricing was very reasonable. Similar meals in Murrells Inlet would be much higher. We really enjoyed our food and meeting Shelle. We will definitely come back to eat in or take home!
