Great food! As a vegetarian, there aren’t many vegetarian/vegan options. The service time is also too long. Had to wait an hour for the food and the place wasn’t even crowded. I love how the back area leads to an outdoor patio. You can eat and embrace nature at the same time! It’s also next to Powell River.

Location! Right on the river! Beautiful view of Powell River. Sevice was really good. Food was ok. The place was clean. If you’re interested in kayaking or tubing it is right next door. Free parking. Would eat here again! Under new ownership this month 7/2023.

Beautiful place off the river. Outside eating is accommodated with nice warm heaters. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes they didn’t disappoint. The waitress was well mannered and very quick to wait on us. 10/10 this spot makes me want to move to this little city. I’ll be back for a tubing adventure during the warmer months.

Wonderful out of the way Restaurant that specializes in catfish and they definitely have fried catfish down pat. Their platter consists of two large perfectly fried catfish filets that are white, thick and meaty. They also come with two sides and two hush puppies. I tried the Green Beans and Fries while the Mrs had the Coleslaw and Corn Pudding which was fantastic. If you decide to go make sure to follow their billboard signs as Google maps will send you to a point across the river from the Restaurant! We ate out on the patio overlooking the river only they had already winterized it with large plastic sheets.

As some other people noted, the GPS will take you across the river. Food was good, mostly ranging from $12 and up. The outdoor patio is enclosed in plastic and it was pleasantly warm, nice to sit and watch the water or lounge by the fire until your food came. Seemed to have a decent selection of alcohol also.

I was really impressed . Had a short wait to be seated but it’s father’s day so that was expected. But it was worth the wait! Food was great, service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere is top notch! We were seated on the balcony facing the river it was gorgeous . Differently will be back!!!!

Such a wonderful and friendly place to eat! The food is delicious, the staff is top notch, and the atmosphere is so relaxing especially out on the patio right next to the river. The place really does a great job of making you feel right at home.
