My friends who live in the area suggested this restaurant and I am glad we went there. I ordered Soltani and was perfect. The barg kabob was well cooked and the koobideh was juicy. By the way, don’t miss the tahdig if you choose Shemroon.

If you’re looking for an authentic Persian dining experience, look no further than Shemron Persian Restaurant! I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is beautiful, and the service is outstanding – the staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great dining experience. And the food! Oh my goodness, the food is absolutely delicious. Every dish is bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend the kabobs, which are tender and perfectly seasoned. And don’t even get me started on the bread – it’s so soft and fluffy, and served warm from the oven. Simply put, Shemron is a hidden gem that you must visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Good thing about living in OC is, there are lot of good choices for Persian Restaurants available. This one seems to be pretty new, I ordered the bone in Chicken kabab and it was delicious and tasteful, rice was also very well made. I like the presentation in those traditional Persian style large “Rouhi” dishes, feels closer to home to me.

Don’t be fooled by the photos on here. We were completely fooled. This place has nothing to do with the main photo by the water and other photos that showcase this restaurant. We drove far to get there and we were hilariously disappointed by the bland interior and atmosphere. There were no windows, just plain white walls all around a small space. It was so awkward. When we asked why the photos don’t match, the woman didn’t even have a sense of humor about it and just said those are photos of catering at events.. okay, well maybe don’t misrepresent your place? The food might be good, but there is no way we were gonna sit inside that place after expecting what we had seen in the photos.

The place was completely empty tonight. Come on people support your local businesses before all we have for options is fast food and grocery stores. I ordered the Tadig with only ghiemeh plus one order of ghiemeh and extra white rice plus the Chicken Breast charbroiled. The chicken was very flavorful and still moist. They did a great job on all of it.
