Based on a recommendation from a friend we tried dinner at this restaurant. We ordered , pannier tika , fish tika , makkidi roti & sarson ka saag, puri chole and mirchi bajji. To our surprise , paniier tikka was not made in tandoor , it was pan fried like chili pannier with full of onions and taste was not that great . Fish Tika was ok and right quantity. Makki roti & saag was very good . Puri was oily and china’s was ok . Overall ok experience for one time try .

This is one of those restaurants where the food is outstanding but the ambience is below Par !! Orders get mixed up and delivered to wrong tables and they don’t even care. However, the good part is the food is very fresh and well cooked. Tried the Veg Biryani cooked in pulao style and tasted very Awesome !! The Parathas loaded with ghee were good and so is the punjabi kadhi which was nicely done. Would recommend togo orders here rather than dining in.

After coming from California n doing so many restaurants here i choose Sher e punjab coz it was late night n me n my friend were hungry. I went for mutton biryani n he went for chole bhature and I’m quite impressed how good the Biryani was! In US, I am a person who always is disappointed with mutton biryani coz i used to have really good mutton biriyani from my Muslim relatives during eid n in india my neighborhood had really great mutton dishes…

Late lunch over a weekend. The paneer tikka looked nothing like tikka but was flavorful. Makki ki roti, bhatura and garlic naan were among the best I’ve had. The saag and chole were tasty. I enjoyed the Kashmiri baingan despite the oil in it. If you don’t mind the plastic plates and cutlery, or the plain interiors, the food is surely worth the visit. Clean washroom too.

I visited after 2 years. And nothing has changed. Food is delicious. Portion size is less even when comparing with price of other restaurants which have better portion size and are costly but they have better service and ambience too. I didn’t visited here in last 2 years was only because of portion size. I don’t mind the ambience and service though. The biggest positive is closing time. They are open till 11 PM.
