The best halal street food in State college. Very clean, delicious taste, friendly stuffs, reasonable price, and the location is also very convenient. I had chicken gyro, chicken wing and they were super good.

The food is always great and at a reasonable price. The staff are sometimes a bit unfriendly, but other times are very friendly. The hours are a bit strange, but make sense for a college town. But this is definitely one of our go-to spots for a quick bite in State College. Just don’t forget your included drink from the cooler before you go!

INSANE!!!!! This place has the best chicken gyro that I have ever had. It’s over an hour round trip for me to get food here and all I can think about all week is making it down to this gem of a food stand. The best flavor of food that has hit my mouth in a long time. I have young children and it’s hard for me to get out of the house but when I get a babysitter I’m planning my escape again very soon as all I can think about is their chicken gyros!!! I’m addicted

Nothing tops walking down the street at 2 or 4 am coming home from a party and passing a halal cart. When i tell you, i absolutely devored lamb gyro and lamb on rice with both sauces multiple days of the week it is one of the few things i was proud of doing those nights. Sober me always woke up fed and with leftovers. It’s definitely a must-have at Penn State. Especially if you’re in the party scene. RIP dumpster fire and chumps. Hope the mural I did in chumps basement is still there. Probably not since he didn’t get most of his security deposit back.

I’m a College student who is used to eating food later at night, and Having this Halal shop so nearby is very convenient for me, the staff and servicing are also very friendly people. The gyros they serve is also most likely the best i’ve ever tasted, they have generous portions and you receive the quality you pay for.

Tried Sher Halal for the first time. Refreshing to have something quick and easy to pick up for lunch. Had chicken lamb platter and it was amazing.

One of my favorite places in downtown area with a quality food and portion size vs pricing! Very filling and tasty. Go for Chicken & Lamb over rice if you haven’t tried it yet. The staff is amazing! And they are open late night as well.

We used to love this place, but they recently changed the recipes! The kofta is different and so is the falafel. Most importantly, the white sauce is different (and not as good). Let us know when they change back to the original recipes

Lamb gyro was delicious, loved the red and white sauce combo. Very friendly service, I was shocked that it was only $8 for the sandwich and a 12oz coke! Will definently go back!!
