This place has been our family’s “go to” diner for over 25 years. The food never disappoints, prices are reasonable, staff is personable, and even through the current conditions, there is a top priority of guest safety, along with strict adherence of CDC guidelines. One of the best diners in Central Jersey!

I haven’t been here in s few years but today we were super hungry and we were near Sherman’s so we stopped in. I got the Sherman’s burger which is crazy good! All fresh made to order. 2 burgers with cheese and I added fried onions and bacon. Mouth watering for sure!. I gave the food 4 stars because I substituted fries for the onion rings. They were below average at best. The atmosphere hasn’t changed much over the years and all I can say is that they need to put some money in some updating. Place has an old look and feel to it.

Sherbans pancakes are second to none. I no longer live in NJ. However, every time I’m visiting in South Plainfield, I try to hit Sherbans at least once during my trip. I’ve been going to Sherbans for almost 50 years!

Few things first : for what I had this place is not at all expensive , I had the chicken melt sandwich , which was super delicious. The coleslaw was good tasting as well, the pickle was a little weird but i had two of them :). The cheesecake is the BEST ! I posted a photo of it ! I’m coming here again and also our waitress Jennifer was super friendly . Great job guys ! Would recommend to others !

Very nice old school diner that’s tucked near freight train tracks in South Plainfields downtown area.I ordered two eggs sunny side up and sausage and home fries it was very good and the waitress was straight forward no frills person.The price was good for what I had I would go again
