Arrived in Salida at 8:30pm. Thankfully Sherpa was open and let us dine in. Really nice Nepalese staff. Great vegetarian options. We had Korma Pannier and the vegetarian fried rice. Both were great. The Korma spice level was perfect. The fried rice was light and not greasy. The nan was fluffy and excellent. Thank you Sherpa

We enjoyed this place! The food was authentic and tasted so good. Portions were huge and chicken was melting in my mouth. Nice beer selection. Great place to fill your tummy after climbing a 14er!!!!!!

Sherpa Cafe is a solid restaurant. The vegetable samosas were very good. They tasted good and the pasty dough was well fried.

One of my favorite local spots in Salida, Colorado. The food is made upon order and the staff is friendly. I love the art and ambiance in the restaurant. The food is the best Nepalese cuisine I’ve ever had! Quiet, quaint delicious spot. Check them out!

We arrived at 2:17, just before they closed at 2:30. We were willing to take our food to go, but they graciously seated us. At 2:30 they closed the dining room, so we had the place to ourselves, apart from the restaurant staff.

The food at Sherpa Cafe was flavorful with authentic Asian dishes. The atmosphere was welcoming and the servers were kind. The only complaint I have is that when I asked for my food to be spicy, it was very mild. I highly recommend this place but don’t get your hopes up when ordering spicy food.

An absolute gem! Wonderful staff, with a solid variety of options, and truly excellent food. Easily on par with any of the well-known Sherpa restaurants in the front range, and likely the best saag paneer in the state! Plus the momos and chicken thukpa are fantastic. Great value and 10/10 would recommend going any time you’re in Salida.

And now for something you don’t expect in an out of the way town – delicious Nepalese and Indian cuisine.

First time going to this place. The people were very nice, service was on point, food was well timed and delicious. The margarita could have been colder but it was well poured and also delicious. The building has a big sunroom and you can melt if you sit out there during the wrong time of day. The decorations in the dining are are very pleasing, in my opinion. There’s a lot to look at. Sorry, I didn’t take any photos.

I had a vegan option and my boyfriend had non-veg. Food was great especially after hiking Mt Shavano, a long day. Employees were very nice and helpful, food was quick and delicious.
