Little Mountain town, mom and pop diner like I grew up in. Food on the table less than 5 minutes during a busy lunch service only 2 tables open. Food was great, real mash potatoes. Small diner with a small parking area. If parking lot is full, the diner is full. But there is additional parking across a busy four lane road. Daily specials.

Delicious home cooking. I had a grilled chicken chef salad. The chicken was moist and tender, the veggies were fresh and crisp. My family members said the BLT and the patty melt they had were great. Our server was attentive and friendly and the wait was just a few minutes. We were first timers but it’s a place where everyone knows everyone and they are just as nice to strangers as they are to regulars.

Worst chili burger my wife have ever had. (I tasted and I agreed) The chili was not chili it was watered down meat. And the burger was off white/ gray color.

The sign caught my eye as I was driving through and I love “good home cookin,” so decided to stop. The chili cheese burger was large and served on a warm, soft bun. It for sure hit the spot! And I had a lovely conversation with local patron regular, Mr. Pete. Would definitely eat here again!

We had a daily special and a cheeseburger. The country fried steak was not country fried steak but some type of probably canned meat they tried to make into patties. The corn nuggets were to tough to get into to taste. Burger was cold like it had been sitting for too long.
